EMBASSY ISLAMABAD

Last week, the second transport with 88 modules for the German Embassy in Islamabad started. 

The route stretches from Neresheim via Mannheim, Antwerp, Karachi to Islamabad, see graphic below.

The total distance is about 14,000 km, of which about 12,000 km is by sea. The final passage in Pakistan of approx. 1,400 km is on roads that are not fully developed.

In total, the modules will be on the road for 2.5 months, including 4 weeks on the ship.

The planned completion date for the new German Embassy is July 2022.
