My way to ADK:
Since the spring of 2013, I have been working as a project-related main supervisor in the field of production at ADK Modulraum. As a trained joiner, I was very interested in the principle of modular building construction with almost 95% prefabrication, so I simply applied for good luck and was promptly hired.
My greatest challenge:
In the first year at ADK, I was in charge of the interior design for a Holiday Inn hotel that was delivered to Voronezh in Russia.
In our production hall in Neresheim we produced completely equipped sample modules, including doors, windows, carpets, furniture, heating, ventilation, plumbing and electrical. After acceptance by Holiday Inn, it went into production. Within a few months 107 modules for a 6-storey building with a total area of 5860 m² were built here.
The completed modules were transported to Voronezh by road and sea with heavy transporters and assembled in the final construction to form a large hotel complex.
This Holiday Inn hotel is the first hotel in Russia to have been built in modular design.
The excellent order situation requires interdepartmental cooperation, which is implemented alive at ADK. Even with a lot of work, each colleague always has time for technical and scheduling appointments. This ADK teamwork is promoted by the company's management through in-house corporate events that are held twice a year, not just for business but also for private issues.
